My name is Menaka Rao. I’m a website builder, content writer and graphic designer.

After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and looking for a job as a programmer, a friend of mine told me about a small business owner looking for an assistant as her work load had increased. It turned out that the lady was a recruiter and helped companies hire IT professionals. It was a part time job. While there, I learnt a lot about the skills that were in demand and that helped me take the right courses and add to my skills. I was eventually hired by a start-up company as a consultant and then started my career as a Programmer Analyst. 

When my husband and I decided to have a family, I decided to quit my programming career to become a full time mom. I had to focus and give it my 100% like I always do for any endeavour I take up. Multitasking is a very important aspect of being a mom. I mastered it. Being a mother definitely helps with learning and sharpening one’s management skills I must admit, I learnt a lot myself while teaching my kids.

I started again with social media management assignments which included Email marketing and eventually got to creating websites for small businesses. I also offer content management services which includes creating content. I am passionate about designing and creating websites as I can use both my creative skills and my trained technical mind. I enjoy graphic design as well.

Reading and writing being one of my hobbies I help my clients with creating content for blogs, social media posts, copywriting and proof reading.
